Aspects of Acetylene Gas Plant Supply
Generator of acetylene
A permanent carbon to water automatic generator with dual hoppers is the most recent and most advanced acetylene generator. Acetylene is produced by the chemical interaction between calcium chloride and water. The equipment was designed and built to produce acetylene at a pressure
Condenser
The condenser cools and purifies the gas, allowing the surplus moisture to condense. On the shell side, cool water is circulated from bottom to top. The condenser is designed and built to work in any environment as long as there is enough water flow.
Dryer with low pressure
The moisture in the gas is absorbed by the solid anhydrous calcium chloride at (at least) 80% purity in this pressure vessel. It turns into a liquid, which collects at the bottom and is drained.
The purifier for LPs
This jar is split into two portions of the LP purifier by a wire mesh framework, each section charged with purifying matter. Impurities, such as H2S phosgene, are absorbed by the chemicals in the purifying mass.
Scrubber for Ammonia

To eliminate contaminants from compressed acetylene gas, a three-stage high-pressure dryer is loaded with specific packing and anhydrous chloride.
Manifold filling with cylinders
Two headers, non-return valves, flashback arrestor pressure gauges, and a control valve are used to fill the manifold.
A flame-resistant level controller
Strict use of an accurate and dependable infrared level controller detects high and low levels with millimetre accuracy, is intended for hazardous environments, and has a long life. It satisfies the requirements of the CE standards directive.
Control Panel for Instruments
Due to the accuracy of pressure receivers as defined by the CE document, an Instrument Management Panel is used to control high and low level tools to control in the generator, as well as low pressure cutoff in the compressor for high safety.
