Cryogenics oxygen plant is used to freeze air or gas into liquid or solid state. Oxygen plants hold importance in multiple industries, such as semiconductor, solar cell and fiber optics, bio pharma, food and beverages, testing gas or hazard gas.

The cryogenic oxygen plant is an air treatment process that is used to remove impurities like moisture and dust from air. Water molecules can be liquefied at a very low temperature. To remove all the impure gases that dissolved in the moisture, it adds nitrogen or other inert gases to the reactor, and then pushes through a filter with a large pressure difference. The high speed of water flow produces a frothy, stable foam to achieve purification effect. Density of liquid oxygen is lower than water, so the mixture of cryogenic oxygen and natural gas will become a supercritical fluid in the pipeline and produce higher heat energy and power output with cleaner fuel combustion.

A cryogenic oxygen plant may be used in various industries both in oil and gas production and also in metallurgy. However, they are mainly used to produce oxygen that is further sold to chemical and petrochemical industries.
