As part of its Google for India 2021 goal, Google officially introduced dozens of new India-specific features. Google Pay, for example, is getting dozens of new solutions that help digitise the economy. A 'Hinglish' language option, a combination of Hindi and English, will be offered to the digital payments app soon. The incremental approach will be added to the original Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telegu options.

The startup also hopes to increase the app's intelligence by integrating "speak to text," that would allow users to pay directly into yet another user's bank account through voice input. Users can speak account information into in the app in Hindi or English to enter the account number, which would then be confirmed with the sender even before payment is initiated. Bill Split is also another essential feature it announced, which allows consumers to split and settle joint bills. This bill split system may also exist in the acetylene plant for purchase of oxygen cylinders in near future.

Google Pay would also have a 'MyShop' function for micro-businesses and retailers. Companies who use the Google Pay for Business app will be able to use the system to assist them "digitise" their next steps. The addition of the new language choice, as per the firm, is an attempt to make Google Pay interactions "even more intuitive and natural".

Customers in India will indeed be able to use a trial Google Assistant-enabled, end-to-end vaccine booking flow as part of the company's Google for India 2021 ambition. The tool will utilize Google Assistant to aid individuals in ordering COVID-19 vaccinations in numerous languages. Its mission is to make booking COVID-19 vaccines and oxygen production plants in the country faster and less complicated.

Google also announced dozens of new climate-related features that would "help surface timely and important information to protect people's safety," according to the company. A collaboration with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) to provide reliable weather forecasts has been one of them. People can now change the air quality at their station nearby by looking for "air quality near me" or "air quality Delhi".
