India resumes quarantine-free entry to foreign travellers from 99 countries

South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, and Singapore are currently regarded as "at risk" by India.Travelers who have now been fully vaccinated and come from a country with whom India has similar arrangements for mutual acceptance of WHO-approved vaccines. And no need to quarantine Covid-19 vaccinations at home.

 

As per the updated International Arrivals Guidelines, the RT-PCR test must always be completed 72 hours beforehand to departure.India has resumed quarantine-free admission for overseas tourists from 99 countries that already have agreed to reciprocal recognition of vaccination certificates with Delhi, over 20 months after imposing strict restrictions owing to the Covid-19 outbreak. Government is also trying to keep the data of oxygen plant suppliers.

 

Passengers from these 99 countries must fill out using a self-declaration form and upload a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test report to the Air Suvidha portal (new delhi airport.in) prior to their booked flight.As per the updated International Arrivals Guidelines, the RT-PCR test must be completed 72 hours beforehand to departure. Furthermore, each passenger may sign a declaration attesting towards the report's validity, or face criminal charges if the report is determined to be false.

 

"There are nations that have binding international agreements with India for immunisation certificates of widely renowned or WHO-recognised vaccines". Similarly, some nations do not have these agreements with India, but they exempt Indian citizens who've been completely vaccinated against COVID-19 with nationally or WHO-recognized immunizations", according to the recommendations.Furthermore, each passenger should sign a declaration attesting toward the report's validity, or face charges if the report is determined to really be false.

Visitors from all such countries that practice Indians to enter without quarantine have been evidence that confirms advantages upon arriving in India on the basis of reciprocity.

As per the instructions, fully-vaccinated visitors arriving from such a country with whom India has similar arrangements for mutual acceptance of WHO-approved Covid-19 vaccinations don't have to be quarantined at home, and that they can self-monitor their health for 14 days following its arrival.
