The PSA oxygen Plant at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) was inaugurated on Sunday by Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang and AIIMS Bhopal President Prof Dr. YK Gupta. Minister Vishwas Sarang stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's preparedness ensured that there would be no amount of oxygen if needed. This oxygen production plant will continue to provide oxygen in future in the case of an attack. This plant is considered. The plant with a capacity of 1000 l and will provide oxygen to the trauma hospital and emergency block, with 300 beds profiting from this. An oxygen generating plant extracts oxygen from the atmosphere's air.
With this unit, AIIMS Bhopal's reliance on those other institutes for liquid oxygen plants will be reduced. Now, AIIMS Bhopal would have a variety of oxygen resources, including an oxygen cylinder filling plant, a manifold, a 30 KL liquid medical tank, a PSA oxygen plant, and over 150 oxygen concentrators. Dr.Sarman Singh, Director AIIMS, Medical Superintendent Dr. Manisha Srivastava, and several other hospital doctors went to the event.
The Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) supply capability at the AIIMS Bhopal trauma and emergency medicine block was recently introduced by AIIMS Bhopal director Dr.Sarman Singh. The LMO unit would significantly decrease the hospital's reliance on portable oxygen cylinders. The emergency unit, which relies on jumbo oxygen cylinders filling plants, would indeed be served by the LMO plant. This facility will also provide a constant supply, but will also allow the trauma and emergency unit's ICU to expand, according Dr Singh.
He expressed his pleasure that the new facility would enhance AIIMS hospital's patient safety capabilities. "AIIMS Bhopal is on the right track as an institute to provide the appropriate treatment to the population of central India," Dr.Singh added.
The hospital does not even just provide critical Covid-19 patients, and also to non-Covid-19 patients. During the outbreak, services and bed capability have grown at an increasing rate, according to AIIMS Bhopal hospital superintendent Dr. Manisha Shrivastava. AIIMS Bhopal is projected to reach its maximum capacity of 960 beds in the coming years. A burns unit also has been developed to provide immediate care to patients. As an assistance program for emergency care at AIIMS Bhopal, the two-bed clinic is well on a dedicated burn operating theatre.
